  Not enough adjectives could describe this industrial being that stood before me. The sun shown upon him like he was a calling, making his skin look like bronze. He was like a statue, a black man. He was black but not the shiny black, the melty dark chocolate kind. Almost like you could reach out and expect to rub velvet.  And peculiar optics, almost alien like for him. An amber honey color that froze your bones and drew you in. What was it about him though that made me long to stare at his perfect beauty mark or pristine white teeth? Some think sane Is a alien word But really with this pain It’s hard to believe As told I lay looking at the stars Feeling so lost and cold I walk this lonely road And wrap myself in my life quilt The weak stitches are sewn What do you do? Fear, love and hate Which of these determines my fate? Fear and hate will rot my mind But I know love is always kind Do I hate the anger of fear the love?
